I.T. SHIELD, LLC, was founded by Scott Guinther. Scott's entry into the world of computers began after watching a movie about a supercomputer that took control of the world. From that point, his desire was to learn how to use computers, use them safely, and help others to do the same.   

Scott began by learning several programing languages, including Basic, COBOL and RPG II, in an attempt to understand how computers were programed.  He then worked as a technician for a computer repair shop diagnosing both hardware and software issues. This provided Scott with foundational knowledge of how hardware and software interacts and how users interact with the hardware and software systems.

Over the next 30 years Scott helped individuals and organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, build and secure their computers and computer networks, and helping them utilize new technologies to their competitive advantage.

Now, 34 years later, I.T. Shield, LLC provides advanced security solutions to protect users and companies from malicious threats that can compromise the safety and data security of organizations and their employees.  

We provide our clients with continuous data breach protection for all their Information Technology (I.T.) needs. This covers servers, desktops, laptops, phones, networking equipment, software and yes users. Whether that user is in the office, traveling or at home the protection goes with them.
